    Bad sportmanship

Well, I'm starting this thread to talk about bad behaviors.

Every one who played arcades has know these kind of players. People who laugh in your face, or talk to his friends saying your a trash player or something. And worst if you beat them, you can't stop them.

Also, there are players who play like a turtle and simply you can't beat them. But!!! that's not a reason to blame them. That's their style, and if you're good enough in that game, you should beat them. If not, then learn their system and try again. But do not cry like a baby because you're saying you are a bad player.

Message dedicated to Yor (RB2) Don't cry guy. You're not good enough then.

    Re: Bad sportmanship

    Thanks for reply.

My main question is why such behavior? I though I was playing with that little teen I have faced several times in arcades.

You're 26 (I think) and as an adult and experienced player is unacceptable.

I can understand if you're 20 and was playing his first challenges against people. Unless the second is right.

I have faced lot, lot, lot of "turtle players" or "away players" or "waiting players". Some of them I beat, some of them I didn't, specially in KOF02. (in fact, I like them, because that's the only style I suffer to play against)

Well, I don't want to start a fight or similar, this is not kaillera. Damdai has worked hard.

My offer is relax Yor, change your behavior and let's play again. Your Sokaku vs my Mai.

I think people need to realize this is not Kaillera and show some tact. Keep in mind acting like a complete tool in chat might have consequences.

Sadly there's nothing you can do about these losers, just use that nice ignore button and don't let it bother you ^^

    Re: Bad sportmanship

Everyone needs to go read Sirlin's "Playing To Win"; that is all.

However, the worst sportsmanship I've seen yet is people saying that it lags too much. It might, but maybe they're hiding something, cause I never lag, not bad enough to hamper my play phenominally.

However, I'm a pretty bad sport in the fact that I downplay myself a lot XD I often comment more on my mistakes than the other person's strengths...

Most players see anytime their offense < opponent's defense as turtling, sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't, some matches it's only way to win.

The only real thing frowned upon here is special move macros (2-button macros acceptable to most)

BTW you two are both solid players- I can't take your Mai lightly at all.  First good one I've seen in this game.

    Re: Bad sportmanship

Yeah arstal. After last matches against you I can see you are a def player, but that don't bother me, in fact is great to play because I need to think how to open your defense. (btw, sorry. my conn was down)

Well I Have to play defense against you cause you don't open up.  You try to get me to attack to use your defense, so I have to try to get you out of your defense for my offense to work.  That's not so much defense as yomi.

It's an excellent read, for any game player TBH.

True lol. And that guy who knows he's better than you yet keeps having to go back for more tokens :p

And turtling isn't wrong; it takes an immense amount of patience and dedication to play that way. In some cases it might be easier to play defensively, but I for one have a lot of trouble halting my momentum like that XD

Turtling isnt wrong, in samsho opponent could just do dash cancel, or dashing overhead attack, or dashing low attack, or dashing grab to deal with turtle
